We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, upbeat and loves to find creative solutions for creative ideas.  The Sr. Project Manager (Production) serves as the liaison between the Account Team, Finance and the Production Team. This person takes the lead on organizing content projects, budget, deliverables, timelines, and works closely with all team members to make sure that projects are consistently moving forward.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Production
    • Focus on high-level planning with CCO, Supervisors, and Brand Managers. The Sr. Project Manager will travel through the entire production process to support Producers and Brand Managers execute content in a timely manner.  
    • Support in forecasting a quarter in advance (as possible) to ensure proper resourcing with enough lead time
    • Managing workflow around production to ensure that deliverables are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard
    • Work with Producers to plan content timelines and update the master client timeline document as necessary
    • Manage content status document daily and run weekly content status and content forecasting meetings with monthly debrief
  • Account 
    • Work with Brand Managers to plan production timelines and update the master client timeline and forecasting document as necessary
      • PM creates client-facing and internal timeline, Production schedules the shoots on the calendar and assigns resources
    • Continually check-in with Brand Managers to understand what work is coming up to be able to pace projects accordingly
      • Support in communication between Brand Managers and Production to help ensure that we’re able to meet client-facing deadlines with deliverables along the production journey
    • Work with the brand manager to either scale back the list or ask the client for more money if the lists are getting out of scope. 
    • Assist Brand Managers with post-production tasks as needed and support videographer/photographer/animator workflows
  • Agency
    • Communicate proactively with Department Leads to understand upcoming project needs and to keep everyone in the loop on current project status 
    • Work with producers to manage the master calendar for shoot days and team member availability, and identify when additional support is needed 
  • Finances 
    • Identify needs for additional resources and work with COO, Director of Finance, Production Supervisor, CCO and Brand Supervisor based on financial projections and upcoming projects 
    • Ensure budgets are received and updated at all appropriate steps of the process  
    • Work with CCO and Production Supervisor to manage and track Production Department budgets at a macro-level and an individual project level 
    • Analyze the budget and actuals each month compared to the status of the projects to catch overruns on a weekly basis 
    • Work with Producers, Brand Managers and Brand Supervisor to pull monthly retainer tracking docs and help manage staying within retainer budgets 
    • Work with Producers and Brand Managers to oversee monthly client invoicing to ensure all projects are billed appropriately  
    • Work with Production Supervisor to manage department projections and have an understanding of upcoming project needs 
  • Leadership
    • Oversee and manage junior project managers as the department grows
    • Be an active part of the Raindrop culture and community. Serve as a role model of Raindrop culture for more junior team members
    • Lead clients and colleagues with openness and passion for the work we do and the generosity of our partnership
    • Present solutions instead of problems
  • Talent & Subcontractors 
    • Ensure contracts with subcontractors are submitted, documented and stored properly
    • Arrange payment for talent & subcontractors

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-5+ years Project Management experience
  • Production experience is a plus  
  • Flexible, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment 
  • Dropbox, Asana, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel and Studiobinder experience is a plus 

Compensation and Perks

  • $65,000 – $75,000  DOE
