Get to know your Operations Coordinator, Kyle!
What is your favorite brand and why?
I have loved MiiR since their infancy. The Founder, Bryan Papé has literally set to build a vision and legacy of generosity with his life. I can always get behind folks like that. Rad and functioning lifestyle products that have traceable codes to see exactly where a portion of your cash is headed. My most recent tumbler is going towards their ‘Women’s Wilderness’ Project. Aiming to cultivate courage, confidence, connection, and environmental stewardship among girls, women, and the LGBTQ2+ community through year-round outdoor immersions. Now go buy a MiiR product!
What is your favorite part about working at Raindrop?
People. My life has been rich in that everywhere I have ever worked and lived I have been fortunate enough to build friendships with so many brilliant and creative people. Raindrop is full of ‘em.
What does your ideal Saturday look like?
I love waking up before my family (it’s the dad in me), immediately putting on some mellow tunes, making a pour over, and spending time in my head. Once the family wakes up, we’d go out for breakfast and then hit the beach/trails. We love thrifting on the weekends and hitting the farmers market as well. I’d end the day by grilling food and hanging out with friends outside.
What’s one skill you want to learn?
Pottery. Since I was a child I have always wanted to try my hand at pottery. I love working with my hands and it would be a dream to have a little pottery studio at my house one day where I could make home goods for friends.
What is your favorite music album of all time?
Literally an impossible question for me. I was raised on such a wide range of music that I really can’t answer that. My most recent Spotify plays have been: Billy by DRAMA, Only Love by Ben Howard, Open Your Eyes by Bobby Caldwell, and Brown Sugar by D’Angelo. I like it all!
